Rare Series hob nobz are crafted from very rare pieces of wood - exceptional burls, outstanding colours or patterns.  These pieces are as they occurred in nature, finished to preserve their outstanding beauty and rarity.   Such outstanding figure and colour only occurs in small sections of the wood, and often it is possible to create only one or two knobs from the small sections.
