The wood from this Silver Maple tree was typically pale in colour, including most of the burl. But one small section of the burl was dark with a lot of wild grain in a chaotic pattern, and it is that small section that yielded this set of six knobs. Exceptional colour and a dizzying pattern that seems almost edible.
